New author, new addiction!, December 16, 2019

There is so much going on in this book. A whole lot of drama, a few serious topics (but not too heavy of a read) some spicy scenes lightened it up, & feel good moments added to the love of these characters. Beware it is a bit too easy to get sucked into this Nevada desert, but very much worth it. I was glad to see Lily find herself & become a strong character even after all she has been though. Jacob is absolutely dreamy in every way. Flapjack, & Diesel won me over quickly. And Doc has a special place in my heart!

I read 74% of Branding Lily immediately!! I could not put it down until I just HAD to. At first I worried it might go a bit darker with topics mentioned, but this author did a phenomenal job lightening that mood for us. As soon as I could I grabbed it again...and NOW I am freaking out!!!! Dying! OMG I need to know what happens ASAP!!!! Such an intense read with a whirlwind of emotions. I did not expect this story to go the direction it did AT ALL. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I HAD to finish it! Final conclusion......I love this story!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I will be first in line to get my hands on part 2!!

I am literally obsessed with this world, it's characters, & the entire whirlwind of beautifully choreographed chaos inside!

Soooooooo many reasons I adore this book!

1) I love vampire tales! BUT...this vampire tale is unlike any of those I have previously read....and I have read A LOT.

2) The characters!!!! You just have to meet them! 

3) Rourke's sarcastic intense quirky sassiness shines through bright as ever.

4) We are constantly surprised as the story progresses. So little is as it seemed when it began.

Can NOT wait for More!!!

I will be ready to one-click the sequel to this one as soon as possible.

An unforgettable world to delve into!, January 10, 2017

***Be advised this book does contain some sensitive subject matter dealing with young girls & abuse. I normally do not read such subjects, but this was not the main subject matter so I proceeded. This author kept a nice balance sharing minimal details (what was needed to understand their past) & not going too dark.***

Can I just say... I love finding new stories including characters who transport us to a world that feels so real & tangible you believe you are actually there...one that makes it hard to stop reading or say goodbye. MK Harkins did that!! 

Great Authors = Unforgettable Masterminds

My heart still hurts after reading this! There were a few moments I truly never saw coming!!! But...I am soooo beyond happy with the ending! Now, can we please have an entire spin off series?!? I am already envisioning these characters lives happening on paper. There are so many opportunities here. 

For starters, can we please find a wonderful woman for Ray?

I grew up in a small northern Minnesotan town married my high school sweetheart, had two beautiful children and as soon as we could we moved to a warmer climate.
