Chasing Darkness brings back everything I loved about Stealing Light!, September 21, 2017 

There is so much going on in this world to keep you entertained...a classic good vs. evil with angels, fallen, the darkness that follows them, & an emotional avalanche that you don't even realize is upon you until it slams into your heart at full speed. Oh the feels!! 

Cash is back in full on protective smexy mode. Yet my favorite moments were him holding his girl tight ... his whole demeanor sends shivers down the spine with this tender loving attitude that is drool worthy. (Specifically a particular scene where she may have had a bit more "spirit" than expected.) I sure missed CeeCee & her snarky lil' self. She amuses me with her solo debates & sassy commentaries, & I admire how much she's grown emotionally & magically. (Not that you have much choice when some of the most powerful dark forces are determined to steal your light.) I enjoyed every minute of Azazel & his cronies battling it out. Then there's the newest guardian thinking he's all smooth & debonair while some might argue he's more of a pain in the arse. 😂

That ending though!!!!!! 😱

Of course, I have questions & am in need of book 3 ASAP!!!

Paranormal, thriller, guardian angels, demons, fallen, seers, supernaturals, family, emotions, awesome fight scenes, suspense, & so much more!, May 6, 2016 Julie Cassar never ceases to amaze me, & Stealing Light is definitely on my favorites list! This story is different from anything I've read lately & seriously rocks!!! The perfect balance of suspense, angst, romance (in between saving the world & all), & hotness. I am seriously in awe of the characters & worlds she creates. She doesn't miss a beat. All bases covered!!  Personally, I read a variety of genres (although my faves tend to be YA paranormal romances. Don't get me wrong, there are many adult books I have enjoyed as well, but it seems the new norm is all about the sex & not much else.) I adore romance, but I also want adventure, action, comedy, etc. And I LOVE thrillers & suspense like no other!  So, I always appreciate romance done tastefully!! A great romance must also have a great story with it, & Cassar never disappoints. I appreciate how she creates those steamy scenes without over sharing. Not to mention all of the other awesomeness she packs in. Her stories always succeed in transporting me to these far away worlds she magically weaves & I can't wait to see what is to come!! BTW... There are only a few authors that I have found that can truly make me laugh hysterically through the trembles and/or tears. You know, that whole anguished snort cry with fluids flying both directions...yep THAT Happened! I believe anyone who enjoyed her previous works will adore this one too. It's her style of writing that draws us in. Of course, the characters too, but they are addicting because of the unique spin she gives them.
