was born in Idaho, a long, long, long, maybe not that long time ago.... Writing has always been there for her. Growing up, her mind was filled with stories, some she shared and others she filed away to write down later in life. This story thrummed every chord to my heart even as the tears fell. One thousand percent worth it! Ting has such a magical way of touching the soul. I often wonder if she realizes just how much she affects people with her art.

Everything about this world called to me, & before I knew it I had flipped the very last page. The few heart crushing moments were expertly woven & again absolutely worth it. The characters are easy to love (not to mention easy to crush on), their banter easy on the heart, the vision of the island easy to escape to, & their futures easy to dream about. Pushing this tale into the highly recommend list. The feels are real!

Oh happy day!!!,  March 21, 2017

Trigger took me back to my happy place ... way back when I very first stumbled upon Scarlett Dawn with her King Hall ~ Forever Evermore Series. MEMORIES!!!!! 

If you've read that series then you know how addictively intoxicating her shifters are. Especially the alphas!

If you are new to her work then you should prepare yourself for action packed, drama filled, attitude spewin', hotness that may or may not leave you hanging' on a mega cliff until the next release! She creates worlds that engulf the senses & refuse to fit inside the "normal" box. There will always be a character (or two) who would rather die than submit to the rules. BTW...these worlds may not always feel "realistic"...which is exactly why I love them. I am instantly transported to wherever her vivid mind takes us, & details are never lacking. As with every book I have read of hers, I want MORE more MORE & by the time I realize I am on the last page it is much too late!

Trigger hit every one of these reasons on the head for me. 

From the rebellious Poppy who just wants to prove herself capable of making her own decisions to her overbearing father & his soldiers who just want to do what's "best" for her & their women to the king of the shifters & his peeps who nobody ever knew existed. Even with an undeniable attraction she chose to leave & make her own way in the world. Until fate stepped in to reveal it's true plan.

And that's when it got REALLY good!

But, for realz, who wouldn't hope to find some ridiculously HAWT immortal to fall for & save the world/rebuild it with if we humans had destroyed our planet/population anyway?
