This is the perfect follow up/spin off of the Hidden Wings Series! Guarding Eden can easily be a standalone, but if you have read any of the Hidden Wings Series you will be happily reunited with some of our most beloved friends!!

I am repeatedly amazed at how much I adore the characters Cameo Renae brings to life. Each book brings us more action, suspense, & romance too, but my favorite part is always getting to know the newbies she presents to us. They are always unique & real as they unveil their personalities, issues, & feelings along the way. Most importantly I continually want more. That paired with the intense battles we are thrown into time after time ensure I am a forever fan!

Before the fallout, scientists had worked on creating an anti-radiation vaccine (ARV). The first two attempts failed, but despite the incomplete tests and results, the government approved and distributed the third serum to the masses in an effort to aid those who had no shelter.

It worked, keeping those who remained on the topside alive, but it also altered and mutated them. This new and infectious threat had completely outnumbered us. Now, we not only had to rebuild our planet. We would have to fight for it.

ARV-3 was a totally new jolt in my dystopian journey. What a creation! I will admit this is not my favorite genre, but I have lucked out finding a few gems along the way. I was immediately drawn into the this world Renae brought about & the characters ensured I did not leave. I have now read this twice since it was released, & I'm excited to begin the sequels asap. If not for getting behind on my massive TBR I would have finished this series already, but there simply aren't enough hours in the day it seems. :) So...in preparation to continuing on in this series I re-read book 1 so I could really appreciate the details. 

*Be aware ARV-3 is completely different from her previous works in many ways (mainly subject matter) but her writing style, excitement, & emotion shines just as bright as ever. Regardless of whether you are a Cameo Renae junky {raises hands & waves fanatically} or a newbie to her awesome I believe you will enjoy the tales she weaves.*

These arvies are a unique take on a zombie like race & the atrocities uncovered along the way are a swirling twister of thrilling, terrifying, heart stopping adventure. After more than a decade of hiding & learning to survive in underground bunkers the humans are forced to leave their safe places to make their way to the closest of the larger hives. Unfortunately what they encountered was not what they were expecting, but you do what you have to do, right? Now they have no choice but go up against these creatures they know little about.

So...what do you do when everything you thought you knew proves not & who do you trust (or not) to survive?

There's so much more than I could ever share without spoilers, so I won't even go there. If you enjoy a spine tingling ride through what could be with an extra dose of "OMG!!!" & "What were they thinking!?!" then this book may be for you. Enjoy!

While not graphic or drawn out in my re-telling, the rape is part of this story and may be a trigger for some readers.

A whole lot of awesome!, March 16, 2016
Be prepared to enter a world full of many different paranormals with history galore. We travel back & forth from the present to the past learning all about these supernaturals & their tales. There is suspense, action, emotion, war, heartache, joy, friendship, loyalty, & so much more.
Going back in time was a great way to allow us to see different aspects of these characters lives as we got to know them on a deeper level. Decades change people so you can imagine how centuries would. Their choices & actions made more sense.

This is no surprise to me though. After reading Hammond's other books I knew I was a huge fan of her writing style. Unlike her other series this one is more paranormal & less romance ... so far. I'm looking forward to getting back in their world to see what is to come. There are so many directions this tale could go.

lives in Spokane, WA with her goofy, neurotic, long-coat German shepherd, Dexter; he's noble and brave, until someone turns on the microwave, then she has 100lbs of quivering dog trying to hide behind her chair or bury his head under a pillow (Little known fact: a 100lb German Shepherd CAN fit under a coffee table).

T. writes two concurrent versions of the Team Red series for both the Adult and New Adult audiences. Blind Seduction and Color Blind are part of the Blind series - featuring adult-themed erotic romance combined with a humorous paranormal storyline. The Red series featuring Red Rover and Red Zone (release date Aug 23rd) is a funny paranormal romance series with a lighter PG13 type storyline. While both series contain the same character names and a lot of shared dialogue, the Red series is stripped of sexual content and language.
T feels that writing is not a calling so much as it is a compulsion. No one is more surprised than she is when characters take over the plot and dialog, and (re)direct stories in directions she had not (consciously) intended. She is fully convinced that the writer is the tool a story uses to tell its tale. Some tools, of course, are more appropriate for the job than others. Here's hoping, you feel she did her stories proud.
T. has a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Whitworth University, and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and before becoming a writer she was a bookkeeper, technical/manual writer, Call Center Manager and the owner of a freshwater aquarium store, Guppy Tales.
