This prequel novella tells the backstory of the Duoviri, the supernatural community's sheriff, and her Juris, deputy.

WARNING: The Duoviri is wrapped around true historic events. This novella contains reference to the rape of Boudicca's daughters, a pivotal incident that fueled her anger against the Romans. While not graphic or drawn out in my re-telling, the rape is part of this story and may be a trigger for some readers.

A whole lot of awesome!, March 16, 2016
Be prepared to enter a world full of many different paranormals with history galore. We travel back & forth from the present to the past learning all about these supernaturals & their tales. There is suspense, action, emotion, war, heartache, joy, friendship, loyalty, & so much more.
Going back in time was a great way to allow us to see different aspects of these characters lives as we got to know them on a deeper level. Decades change people so you can imagine how centuries would. Their choices & actions made more sense.

This is no surprise to me though. After reading Hammond's other books I knew I was a huge fan of her writing style. Unlike her other series this one is more paranormal & less romance ... so far. I'm looking forward to getting back in their world to see what is to come. There are so many directions this tale could go.

T. writes two concurrent versions of the Team Red series for both the Adult and New Adult audiences. Blind Seduction and Color Blind are part of the Blind series - featuring adult-themed erotic romance combined with a humorous paranormal storyline. The Red series featuring Red Rover and Red Zone (release date Aug 23rd) is a funny paranormal romance series with a lighter PG13 type storyline. While both series contain the same character names and a lot of shared dialogue, the Red series is stripped of sexual content and language.
T feels that writing is not a calling so much as it is a compulsion. No one is more surprised than she is when characters take over the plot and dialog, and (re)direct stories in directions she had not (consciously) intended. She is fully convinced that the writer is the tool a story uses to tell its tale. Some tools, of course, are more appropriate for the job than others. Here's hoping, you feel she did her stories proud.
T. has a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Whitworth University, and a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and before becoming a writer she was a bookkeeper, technical/manual writer, Call Center Manager and the owner of a freshwater aquarium store, Guppy Tales.

The house is full of Mustangs, and the Wild Horse Compound, now affectionately referred to as Mustang Ranch, is only a few weeks away from completion. There is a feeling of security, yet not—Teresa’s anxiety attacks seem to disregard logic. Thankfully, the Team Red detail understands and supports her as she battles unseen demons. 

 

WARNING: This book is a Laugh-Out-Loud paranormal extra spicy romance (A bold mesh of military tech, humor, and sex). The Team Red series contains a feisty blind woman; a snarky German shepherd who stalks low flying objects (and the occasional cat); two sexy retired Navy men with a talent for tactical planning; a man-cave with secret tunnels and classified military toys; Marilyn Monroe and other celebrity voices; and a herd of Mustangs. This book is INTENDED FOR MATURE ADULTS OVER 18. Contains sexual situations. Adult language was used, which is unfortunate, as the dog repeats everything.

The Best Yet!!!!!!, March 16, 2015

THIS BOOK!!!! Oh I am absolutely giddy!! For me, this book was the perfect ending to one of my very favorite series! (Pfffft! I say ending, but we'll see...if we have our way we may see these beloved characters again someday.) Hammond took us on the best roller coaster ride yet, & boy was it worth the tears I shed. Happy tears, sad-gut-wrenching tears, & hysterical laughing tears ... Yep, Masterpiece Achieved!

I have raved about this entire series since I first began my #TeamRed journey, but just in case you are new to this particular awesome I will tell you this: Every time I got a glimpse of this story I fell in love just a bit more! I simply could not wait to read more!! I am not talkin' just a character or two. Nope...it's all of them. And now that I am finished I will be dreaming up all of the tales of mini-Bas & mini-Theresa (that I shall continue to beg for) running amuck...growing up...& starting families of their own! Not to mention that dog I can't get enough of. Yep I'll be stalkin' them for years to come. It's that good! You've been warned. ♥
