Crossroads ~ Review

Publication Date: March 2, 2014
I have enjoyed this author's work for a long while, but just recently purchased a copy of Crossroads in paperback before these lovely new covers came about. The old covers drew me in then with their beauty, but I'm loving the new covers in a whole new way. Absolutely Beautiful!!! And ... the story, well it is difficult to describe how something can be so beautifully told while simultaneously ripping your heart out, crushing your soul, & still leave you begging for more! I tend to be a lightweight when it comes to emotional scenes, but I have not been brought to tears so fiercely in some time. Although I assure you it was worth every drop. I could not put this book down & immediately opened up book 2, Between. (Which I finished immediately after.)

Quite simply one of my very favorites series!!

If you are a fan of forbidden love, action packed fight scenes, comedy, suspense, romance, angels, fallen, demon slayers, or any combination of the above then this book is a must read! And if you happen to not be a fan of any of those ... this might just be the book to change that. ;)

M. Clarke a.k.a. Mary Ting
resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children’s chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.
