Downfall is Free!

Downfall ~ The Incorruptibles ~ Book 1
by S.D. Wesley
Publication Date: January 4, 2016

Frankie's cousin wants her to do three things this year...

1. Lose her inhibitions

2. Do something spectacularly stupid

3. Fall madly in love

Travelling was Frankie's life. As the daughter of a big-name evangelist, she's been able to feed her hunger for new sights throughout most of her teenage years. Then a hushed-up scandal gets her thrown off the tour circuit and stuck at her uncle's house in the town of Augur's Well.

Forced to repeat her failed senior year, it looks like a dismal existence for Frankie--until she's invited to the bizarre meeting place of four mismatched people ... and falls hard for the fascinating, secretive Cain Aleister.

Furtive meetings in an underground chamber ... Latin words carved into a stone wall ... intense desire ... and a secret so elusive she'll do almost anything to bust it open. Until now, Frankie never believed in grand passions--but that's not the only one of her beliefs about to implode right before her eyes.

Looks like Frankie's going to score three for three.

Praise for The Incorruptibles

"One thing I look for in books is original, unpredictable storylines because I like a book that pulls me in from the first page and doesn't let me go. I often put books down after a few pages because I'm not hooked or because I feel I'm reading the same old story. Downfall hooked me."

"Downfall is the first book in an amazing series by S.D. Wasley. Set in a small agricultural town in Australia it begins the story of the daughter of an evangelist author and her more than "normal" group of friends. Part love story, part paranormal thriller, part coming of age tale, it's a superbly crafted story that offers something new on every page and manages to avoid all of those sudden lags that sometimes have you flipping forward to see if you're getting close to the end of the story yet."

"What a great writer, I could not put this book down, I love the way its written in the first person with her inner turmoils, her strengths and weaknesses. The main character is such a powerful force to be reckoned with."

It's perfect timing to fall into Frankie's secret world in Downfall, with Book 2, Fallout, available already, and Book 3 (the final), Uprising, out within a couple of weeks.

Something Great Sale Blitz

Something Great
by M. Clarke
This is a New Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.

She didn't know what she was missing...until he found her.

Maxwell Knight was dangerously good-looking, seductively charming, and definitely trouble. He was everything Jeanella Mefferd did NOT need now.

Fresh out of college, life was predictable and comfortable for Jeanella. She had the strength of her friends, the security of her job, and she was dating a reliable man; it was all smooth sailing. That was until one night, when she met someone who made her feel things she'd never felt before--dangerous, heart pounding, breathless heat. Never imagining she would see him again, Jeanella has no idea what to do when fate steps in and thrusts Maxwell Knight into her life, just as things were beginning to change around her. When she lands her dream job and travels to New York for Fashion Week, can she focus on her career instead of on Maxwell?

Will she ignore all the danger signs and jump straight into his arms; or would she miss out on the chance of finding something great?

When he turned to reach for his computer, a cold empty space took his place. Standing there, breathless, I was immobile for I don’t know how long, until Max brought me out of it.

“Jenna….”

I turned. He was outside of my room, so I followed his voice…across from where I stood, still in my bedroom, him in his. He was topless, with a bath towel around his bottom half. Oh dear Lord. I had imagined what his chest would look like underneath his sweater or T-shirt on many occasions, and he did not disappoint. With ripped muscles along the curve of his arms and six-pack abs that sizzled, he made my dreams come alive.

“Just to let you know, you agreed to go on a date with me.”

“What? I don’t remember. Was it when I was not myself? ‘Cause that doesn’t count.”

“Everything counts, babe.” That was the third time he’d called me that. My heart did a pleasant flip, and I wasn’t sure if I liked that feeling. “We’ll talk about it later.”

“There’s nothing to discuss.”

Then I heard the water running from his side of the room. “What are you doing?”

“I’m going to take a shower.”

“I thought you already took one.”

“Babe, after what just happened, I need another one, and a lot colder this time.”

amazon-coverWhen you meet that one person in the world meant for you… you should hold onto them.

Olivia Bannon walked away.

Twice.

When 17-year-old Livy meets Ethan, she can’t deny their inexplicable connection. Lost in his dark, intense eyes and smile-to-die-for, Livy never thought she would feel like this. It almost makes her want to break her childhood vow, but Livy knows happily ever after is just an illusion, and despite her heart wanting Ethan, her head is telling her to stick with the plan. The one that doesn’t include falling in love. Period.

Eight years later, Livy finds herself back in her hometown. After the way she left things, the last time they were together, Livy is anxious about seeing Ethan again. It shouldn’t come as shock to discover he has finally moved on—but it hurts. A lot. Accepting that she will never get the chance to put things right isn’t easy, but it’s not until life comes crashing down around her that Livy realizes what she could’ve had.  Left broken, alone, and depressed, only one person can pull her out—the guy she thought she’d pushed away one too many times.

Livy has finally realized that you can’t fight fate… Some things are just meant to be. Is this finally her time to get it right, or has Livy missed her last chance with Ethan?

Something Great ~ Review

Something Great by M. Clarke

Check it out...
Something Great by M. Clarke
a NEW cover!!!
Blurb
She didn’t know what she was missing…until he found her.

Maxwell Knight was positively trouble, dangerously good-looking, and seductively charming. He was everything Jeanella didn’t need in her life. Only Maxwell didn’t see it that way. His pursuit was relentless, making her even more determined to push him away.

Fresh out of college, life was simple and plain for Jeanella Mefferd. Every part of her life was smooth sailing; her friends, her job, and even the guy she’d started dating. Then one night, while at dinner, she spotted someone who made her feel things she’d never felt before—dangerous, heart pounding and breathless heat. Thinking she would never see him again, she brushed it off, but when she started to run into him unexpectedly, all she could think of was how he made her feel with his sweet flirtations. Everything about Maxwell Knight screamed trouble, especially when she found out he was her new boss’s son. Now, heading to a New York fashion show, would she be able to focus on her career instead of Maxwell, who had been scheduled to attend with her? As much as she tried to forget their encounters, his good looks, smooth words and determination to win her over gravitated her toward him. The next thing she knew, her mind was utterly consumed by him. Would she be willing to ignore all the dangerous signs and jump into his arms? Or would she miss out on the chance of finding something great?

My Review:

If you are a contemporary romance lover you are sure to love this story, & if you're not...well...prepare to be converted!, August 17, 2013
I am in love with this book! Jenna & her friends have been so fun to get to know! Max is hilarious & dreamy all in one! I have said for a long time that I am not a contemporary romance fan per say, but I have found that there are indeed a few authors out there that have me begging for more! M. Clarke is now on that list!

THANK YOU SO MUCH for this book! I am seriously in need of the next!

I won't give away any spoilers away, but check out a few of M.Clarke's excerpts to see how fast you fall for this pair! If you are a contemporary romance lover you are sure to love this story, & if you're not...well...prepare to be converted! ;)
