Airicka Phoenix has turned up the heat!!! I believe the end of the blurb is completely accurate: Boundaries will be crossed, loyalties will be tested and lives will be changed forever.
This story has more layers than the largest onion, & might possibly cause just as many tears....but it is so very worth it!!! There are a few scenes that may not be for the faint of heart & a few that may push you to unpleasant places, but Phoenix always handles these scenes superbly not allowing the darkness to rule. Juliette is so much stronger than she believes & the more I read the more I was rooting for her.
And....Killian, oh Killian, what were you thinking?!? I enjoyed every bit of that Irish addition! YUM!!
This was definitely a battle of the hearts, wills, & souls but the ending absolutely did it justice. Watching Juliette & Vi's relationship transform made my heart happy! And, let's not forget those yummy bodyguards. ;*} They added a lot of giggles as well as aggravation.
If you are a fan of suspense & romance with a semi-dark twist do not pass this one up!
You will not be disappointed!
