1. Tell us a little about yourself!
Hmmm… well, I am a very happily married mother of four. I’ve been told I have an obsession with pictures as well as glittery things. I admit to one of those. =D I am a paranormal addict & lover of all things magical. I think I may qualify as a book hoarder, & may have passed this illness onto my mini me. Oh, I enjoy cooking, baking, & making all sorts of crafty things. I despise cleaning & the never ending laundry, & thus continue on my mission; endlessly searching for my ‘holy grail’, that magical wand to take care of all of that for me. And… Starbucks (or any equally delicious coffee) is the quickest way to get my attention! *wakes up*

2. What inspired you/caused you to start your book blog?
My author friends had been urging me to make one for awhile, but it was my pal K.B. Miller who completely surprised me by designing my blog for me then calling me up to tell me about it along with my log in info. My best friends know me so well!

3. What is your favorite part of running one?
My favorite part of running my blog would have to be all of the interaction with my favorite authors, & meeting others who enjoy the same books as I do. :)

4. What’s your favorite place and time to read? At home in bed at 2am? Out and about at a coffee shop?
At home in my bed before I go to sleep or in the early morning before everyone wakes up

5. Kindle or regular book? How did you feel about the Kindle to book transition? Did you fight it at first or dive right in?
I LOVE to have my favorites in print (which I keep safe on my top shelf where little hands can’t get ahold of them), but I’m not gonna lie… my Kindle is my bestie! I love being able to read in the dark without disturbing anyone by turning a light on. I love that I can easily carry hundreds of books anywhere I go without weighing my already too heavy purse, diaper bag, & other arsenal down. Finally, I love that I can actually afford to get so many of the books I crave, more than I would ever be able to afford to buy in print.

6. Favorite book of all time?
That is a ridiculously hard question! Hmmmmm…. I don’t know that I could pick just one.

7. Coolest author you ever got to meet/work with?
Such a hard choice once again! Can I just say, I love Facebook since I have been able to chat with so many so often, but I have my lil’ group of authors with whom I speak to on a daily basis & they feel like family. These would be
K.B. Miller Jennifer Malone Wright, Aneesa Price, Angela Orlowski-Peart, Willow Cross, & Julie Cassar.

8. Tell us about the woman (women?) behind the mask? Err blog!
For those who know me I’m pretty much an open book. For those who do not please see Question 1. :D

9. Do you prefer a bunch of quick, sweet stand-alone reads or a long drawn out series of epic proportions?
Call me a sucker for “the fairytale”, but I want a never ending tale of epic proportions! For my favorite books as soon as I read ‘The End’ I’m immediately begging for more. I always love getting to see what happens further down the road in the lives of my favorite characters (as well as their kids, & their grandkids if I have my say in the matter. HA!!)

10. Last book you read and how did you rate it?
The Things We Can’t Change Part 2: The Struggle

5 Stars (but only because that’s the allowed limit)!!!!!

11. Aside from reading, what else do you do with your time? Or, like us, do things book-related pretty much sum up your life?
When I am not reading, reviewing, running a street team, & blogging I can be found crafting, in my kitchen, or planning something. I love all things artsy crafty. I make lots of things for myself, family, friends, & for sale including: personalized jewelry & swag items, hair bows out of ribbon & flowers, baby shower gifts (diaper cakes, diaper wreaths, diaper babies, & Daddy Duty Belts), I knit (hats, baby cocoons, baby blankets, & headbands), I scrapbook, I enjoy planning fabulous themed birthday parties for my kids, & I have a passion for cooking & baking.

12. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I’ve always wanted to travel to Italy although seeing so many gorgeous destinations via the world wide web makes it hard to choose just one. I love Italy’s culture, scenery, & the food!

 13. If you could meet any author, who would it be?
I’ve always had a crazy (some might call it an obsession) love for Stephen King.

14. If you could go on a date with any fictional male character, who would it be, from what book?
That list multiplies with so many amazing books I’ve read recently! LOLz I’m gonna go with one of my very first book crushes…

Elliot from The Pulse of Heroes by A Jacob Sweeny.

15. Who is a female character you could see yourself being best friends with?
Corrine from Savior by Jennifer Malone Wright.

16. Is there a fiction genre you just can’t seem to stand or get into?
I will try to read just about anything except extreme violence, especially against kids. That is something that makes me cringe beyond words, & I just won’t read it.

17. When we say favorite book cover, what’s the first one to come to mind – since we know there probably can’t be just one?
You are correct in your assumption! :) OK …

 Coffin Girls by Aneesa Price.

18. What was the series in childhood that got you hooked on reading?
I loved Goosebumps as well as many others, but that one sticks out since my go to genre for years was horror, Stephen King & Dean Koontz to be exact.

19. Were you The Quiet Girl Who Was Always Reading, or did you mainly just read at home in secret?
I was somewhere in between. When I would find a book I was passionate about then everyone would get to hear me rave about it.

20. Do you always read several books at once, or just stick to one at a time?
I normally like to read just 1 at a time unless I am reading a horror or a very emotional book then I may pick up another to read before bed.

21. Favorite book to movie adaption?
Breaking Dawn has been my most recent favorite although I do have a lot of fave movies as I do books! :)
