My Review:
5 Stars
Totally worth the tears!, March 6, 2014
Oh M-A-N! So Good! So emotional!! New Adult Romance is not normally my go to genre, but I would definitely re-read this story again & again. I have to confess that I have never cried as hard as I did while reading this book. I seriously won't even watch those tear jerker movies, because they affect me so. I didn't expect it to hit me so hard, but it deals with an illness that is very close to my heart.  HOWEVER this story refused to be put aside, & for whatever reason I continued reading.  I am really glad too, because I really really liked it!! Totally worth the tears!
We start out saying goodbye as Alex prepares to go off to college her world is turned upside down. Little does she know what else is in store for her. New town, friends, routines, choices, rules...a whole new world. Alex is lucky to have her cousin's older friends to help her adjust to everything. Her roomie Ellie quickly becomes one of my favorite characters along with the rest of the four musketeers.
As always M. Clarke does a fabulous job of taking us on this journey. She takes the typical college life & spices it up every chance she gets adding twists & turns I never expected. Be prepared for lots of goodbyes, tears to be shed, tons of laughter, & sweet memories in the making. The Halloween party & karaoke singing for Ellie's Bday happen to be some of my favorite scenes! And...the ending of course! Perfection!!

Here is what bloggers are saying about the early ARC:
“Grab your tissue box, it will come in handy as M. Clarke/Mary Ting pulls each tender heart string right from the beginning of this touching love story!”
“At first glance, no one would believe Elijah’s tough guy exterior hides a genuine and giving heart. But, you cannot help whom you fall in love with and when opposites attract, the chemistry is undeniable!” –InD’tale Magazine

M. Clarke/Mary Ting blew me out of the water with this book. I am in awe and in love with this epic tale. Elijah Cooper is now my #1 book boyfriend. Sammie's Book Club, for book lovers.
“Through the darkness of our pasts, we are all looking for a little clarity. For Alexandria, Elijah could be just that. My Clarity is a story of love and hope, that through the hardest times we find clarity in each other.” Spare Time Book Blog

"Elijah & Alex sizzle in this wonderful page-turner by M. Clarke. I absolutely could not put it down! This book was 5 stars amazing!" Janie, CrossAngeles

About the Author:
Mary resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children’s chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.
