Oh happy day!!!,  March 21, 2017

Trigger took me back to my happy place ... way back when I very first stumbled upon Scarlett Dawn with her King Hall ~ Forever Evermore Series. MEMORIES!!!!! 

If you've read that series then you know how addictively intoxicating her shifters are. Especially the alphas!

If you are new to her work then you should prepare yourself for action packed, drama filled, attitude spewin', hotness that may or may not leave you hanging' on a mega cliff until the next release! She creates worlds that engulf the senses & refuse to fit inside the "normal" box. There will always be a character (or two) who would rather die than submit to the rules. BTW...these worlds may not always feel "realistic"...which is exactly why I love them. I am instantly transported to wherever her vivid mind takes us, & details are never lacking. As with every book I have read of hers, I want MORE more MORE & by the time I realize I am on the last page it is much too late!

Trigger hit every one of these reasons on the head for me. 

From the rebellious Poppy who just wants to prove herself capable of making her own decisions to her overbearing father & his soldiers who just want to do what's "best" for her & their women to the king of the shifters & his peeps who nobody ever knew existed. Even with an undeniable attraction she chose to leave & make her own way in the world. Until fate stepped in to reveal it's true plan.

And that's when it got REALLY good!

But, for realz, who wouldn't hope to find some ridiculously HAWT immortal to fall for & save the world/rebuild it with if we humans had destroyed our planet/population anyway?

I have been awaiting this release with great anticipation! Moon Mark does not disappoint!!

*Be aware there is MATURE CONTENT in this book including but not limited to a bit of sinister experimentation (emotional war tactics if you will) as well as some smoking hot scenes.*

As always Scarlett Dawn's books are addicting & intense. Her worlds are like a vortex pulling me in as the twists & turns are relentlessly churning. I always find characters I love & others that bring out much harsher emotions. The scientists in this particular story were more sinister & easy to despise. It's a rare moment for me to wish for a character's elimination. That being said, this tale fell in line beautifully with the previous in her Cold Mark Saga. It was an added bonus to briefly see Braita again as we learned of their previous encounter. I have definitely missed our Plumas & would love to see some more of them as well. Although the Kireg had my undivided attention throughout this entire story. ;*}

As much as I adore Dawn's longer novels I did not feel deprived with this shorter episode as it was packed full of detail & depth. Not that I expected anything less.

Now I will await her next release with even greater anticipation!!

 Part One ~ Kenna's Story 

 Another fascinating world to escape to!, September 12, 2015

 Scarlett Dawn has done it again! With her usual flare she transports us to a world full of awesome yet completely different from all of her others. A young Kenna is unexpectedly thrown into her fairy truth & we jump forward a bit to an older Kenna who is now very comfortable in this alternate world of light vs. dark fairies. While the characters are well developed I personally would have enjoyed a little less jumping & more background, but I don't think the story was lacking from it. As always I was sucked into this tale & begging for more! Looking forward to Part 2!! 

 Part Two ~ Juliet's Story 

  Are you Light or Dark? Guess what...In the dark it really doesn't matter!, September 18, 2015

 After reading book one I found book two to be very enlightening! We are transported back in time in Mom's POV, which happened to give us a much better idea of this world where the fairies are divided: light vs. dark. The choices made in that dark room may have changed their lives forever, but it just goes to show that in the dark none of that was important at that moment. Choices = Consequences but who are the ones that actually pay the price?

I am fairly certain that anyone who has been a teenager/parent of a teenager/is a teenager now can recognize Juliet's story as any of the million versions we have lived ourselves. What you might not expect ... the snarky Ms. Juliet & how quickly she pulls you into her dilemma. I laughed just as much as I tensed up awaiting what would happen next. I have no doubt that Scarlet Dawn will bring much more entertainment with our fairy friends! Can't wait to get my hands on the next story! 

 Part Three ~ Susan's Story 

  This just keeps getting better & better!!!, October 26, 2015

 These 3 stories flowed flawlessly for me. While each book focuses more on the new lead character I love that we got to revisit the characters we already met & adore in the previous books. These fairies are quite addicting & I really hope to see more from them very soon!

Pssst...Be prepared for a few more steamy steams here than the previous 2 installments.
