Mary Ting
resides in Southern California with her husband and two children. She enjoys oil painting and making jewelry. Writing her first novel, Crossroads Saga, happened by chance. It was a way to grieve the death of her beloved grandmother, and inspired by a dream she once had as a young girl. When she started reading new adult novels, she fell in love with the genre. It was the reason she had to write one-Something Great. Why the pen name, M Clarke? She tours with Magic Johnson Foundation to promote literacy and her children’s chapter book-No Bullies Allowed.

Keeper Under Fire by Jennifer Malone Wright

 Keeper Under Fire
by Jennifer Malone Wright
Publication Date: August 15th, 2017
The Reapers are coming…

The Keepers are ready to fight … to defend their home and the souls, no matter what the cost.

Olivia Estmond is tired of waiting to be attacked. It is time for the Keepers to strike first against the Reaper Empress. Preparing to fight is not a new concept for Liv, but living with a target on your back is not something she has ever dealt with. The Reapers were ordered to take out the entire Estmond family, and unless the Keepers did something about it, they wouldn’t stop until their mission was complete.

Not long ago, Aiden was a high-ranking soldier in the Reaper Army, but now he has fallen from grace in the eyes of the Empress. More than that, he wants his best friend back. He grew up with Jack and the two were once like brothers. Now, more than ever, he needed his brother. However, what he didn’t expect from becoming a double agent, was the attraction to a sexy red headed Keeper that came with the job.

Review ~ Forged by Greed

Forged by Greed
(The Forged Series)
by
September 20, 2012
Young Adult paranormal romance/urban fantasy novel.

Two Seattle 16-year-olds, Jatred and Jasmira, are not your typical star-crossed lovers.  They are not even your typical Shape Shifters. Sure, they try to live an ordinary life. At least, as ordinary as the Prince and the Princess of the rivaling ancient Races--the Winter wolves and the Summer leopards--can live. But eventually they learn that not much about their existence can be normal. Especially when the Races' two commanding Goddesses are involved.

One of the Goddesses is on a quest to tilt the scale of power to her side. The other will never let it happen, even if it means kicking Jatred and Jasmira's love to the curb. Nothing is off limits, including removing Jatred's memories of Jasmira.

To complicate things even more, there are the Universe's powers to consider. They are trapped in an ancient Amulet in order to protect the stability of the world. But the Universe has a mind of its own, and when the powers are unleashed, the forces of nature are disturbed; earthquakes, tsunamis, and volcanic eruptions shake the Earth. All Shifters of both Races are summoned by their respective Goddesses to fight in the name of, or against, the normalcy of the world.
My Review:
5 Stars

A fast-paced, action-packed, paranormal, romantic thriller that is sure to have you giggling!, November 28, 2012
I was gifted this book by the author for an honest review. This tale of shifters, goddesses, & demons is quite unique! If you enjoy a fast-paced, action-packed, paranormal, romantic thriller that is sure to have you giggling before long then this would be the book for you!
The characters are full of life, questions, & mystery. I really appreciated getting to hear the different POV's as the conflicts became more intense. It helped me to re-evaluate who's side I was truly on.
I also found myself relating at times (as a parent) to the fact that much too often we don't give our kiddos enough credit. If we'd just open up, share, & listen more ... many times we'd be amazed! ;*D
Throughout the last few chapters I was totally in lip biting suspense ... all the way to the end!! Now I must impatiently wait for the sequel!

There are two anthologies of short stories, serving as the prequels to the series. First of them, Forged by Magic: Origins was published on May 31st, 2013. The second anthology, Forged by Legacy: Beginnings, was published on July 10, 2013. The next three full size novels, including Forged by Coalescence, will be released in 2013 and 2014.
