An infamous love, destined nevermore,
For death could not claim, the enchanting Lenore.

Instead, she discovers the lines between fact and fiction are blurring once more. Croaking ravens. Telltale hearts. Could the works of Poe be coming to pass with handsome Wall Street Midas Ridley Peolte as their unwilling target?

She walks the Earth, a plague on mankind,

searching for he, her rotted heart doth pine.

Together, the two unknowingly release a dark force death itself could not tame. Surrounded by the unrelenting violence and mayhem they’ve unleashed, Ireland feels her control over the Horseman slipping. Before the beast within consumes her, she and her crew must follow the clues of the dead to right a centuries’ old wrong. Will it be enough to sate the Horseman’s appetite?
Hell hath no fury like a ghoul scorned.

Another Rourke Masterpiece!, September 30, 2014
Have you been in the head of Edgar Allen Poe lately? Raven has taken us a bit darker this time, in a very good way, as we travel at lightning speed learning much more about the past, present, & dare I say possibilities for the future. As the characters trials take their toll emotionally & physically I found myself wondering how it would end. Normally I have an idea, an inkling of some kind, but not this go-round. Bravo! I applaud Stacey on her ability to tap into Poe's dreariness without losing all of the qualities I love in her work!
There is so much going on here that attention is crucial to catch some of the hidden clues. Truly a masterpiece as she weaves all of her magic into this tale. No chance for romance with the dark forces popping out & antagonizing at every turn. However, new matters of the heart reek havoc as a new "connection" is brewing between Ireland & a certain someone. Luckily we get to see plenty of Rourke's snarkiness & sense of humor shine through once again. Aaaahhh let the the drama, adventure, suspense, good vs. evil, light vs. dark awesomeness begin!
