Rekindled my love for this series!, June 26, 2017

Can I just say....This series ROCKS!! I have loved it since I began reading Embrace way back in 2012. I immediately realized I had missed the first book, The Conduit, so I went back & began again. I have now read them all many times over, & so have my daughters (& a few of their friends as well as a few family members.)

If you are new to Stacey Rourke & her highly addictive world's she creates this is a superb introduction to her work. She always brings a splendid mix of emotion, action, comedy, & snarky wit along with a few heart wrenching moments to ensure we keep coming back for more. The Gryphon Series happens to be the first that lured me in & I just had to have more after that! If you are a paranormal fan that likes sassy characters then this should bring you hours of joy.

I have to say getting to relive it over & over was even better than the first read through. Rourke magically breathes life into these characters, & before we know it we're immersed so deeply into their world that we reach 'the end' before we are truly ready to say goodbye.

If you are into paranormal with plenty of humor added in then you will adore these characters & their stories. Be warned...Grams is a freaking riot & may even cause a blush here & there!!! =D This is one of those I'd love to see on the big screen someday! I hope you enjoy this series as much as we have.

“Another fantastic, awesome, laugh-out-loud funny addition to the library of ‘falling in love’ with Stacey Rourke books! It’s different, and a great example of some pre-Twilight era YA Paranormal books, where angst was minimal, family was important and adventures were up front and center.” -InD’Tale Magazine

“Celeste is a well-rounded character and a spunky, sassy protagonist. Though she is a superhero, she commands compassion because she is so human and vulnerable, flawed and weak in spite of super powers. She has the demands of a job, sibling feuds, family issues and the weight of the world on her shoulders.” -IndieReader

I am beyond excited this series has continued! It is one of my very favorites!, December 5, 2016
I am freaking in love with Rourke & the worlds she creates!!!! I admit the hate was seepin' in there for a bit as my heart crushed when I realized this was not a bad dream we were waking up from!!! I cried real tears at that moment!!!!!!!! Luckily everyone was sound asleep so they didn't witness my ugly crying as I literally choked up. A particular scene on the beach ripped my heart out quicker than any unexpecting merqueen's! With only a few pages left I thought there would be a big cliff hanger causing me to mourn for months...and THEN my heart rejoiced as I continued to read & realized what was happening!!!!

WHEW!!!!!!!!! And... I LOVE this story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Under the Influence Pre-Release Promo Tour

Under the Influence by L.B. Simmons

Expected Release Date: May 11, 2015

Dalton,

I loved you once. A love I thought irrevocable. A love I mistakenly believed could transcend both time and circumstance. Under the influence of my dimwitted, naïve, traitorous heart, I became intoxicated with what I now know was simply a figment of my self-indulgent imagination. So drunk on the feeling, I couldn’t see what was right in front of my face. So foolishly enamored, I blindly followed my heart into the depths of an emotion that would ravage me.

Years later, I know now what I wish I knew then. I am stronger. Smarter. Tougher. I will not allow myself to be broken again.

I loved you.

I raged for you.

I wept for you.

And now, I’m letting you go.
