Throne of Broken Wings by M. R. Polish

 Throne of Broken Wings

Ash King Series ~ Book 3

by M.R. Polish

Publication Date: September 30, 2023

"The stars will fade before my love."

Caitin's powers have awakened, and it is only her mate's blood she craves. When she is told of his disappearance, she goes after him. There was no soul she wouldn't kill, no kingdom she wouldn't burn, no future she wouldn't sacrifice to save him. The Darkness had taken enough. It could not have him too.

Layke would gladly endure everything if it meant his mate was safe. They could drain him of all blood, use him as a puppet, play with his mind... as long as it wasn't Caitin. Then she was there, with red wings and fire. She was glorious and fierce, fighting to free him.

But his freedom wasn't the end. They would have to unveil the secrets of the past and ask the gods for help. With their friends, they find life and death. But neither of them were prepared for the sacrifices that would be made. After all, only one summoner could reign.

Are you ready to soar?, January 29, 2023

I have loved these characters & their world from the very first glimpse received, but Throne of Broken Wings far outshines the rest! Everything we thought we knew tests us as truths come to light & hard decisions are made. Far more intense than the previous in the series on every level including the spice. Caitlin, Layke, Mym, Vorigan, Finnian, Tyriv, Ilaira, & Brodrick are still my faves yet we get to know some new unforgettable characters… & some we would have gladly thrown into the trials. If you enjoy an action packed emotionfest of mates, fates, & all that awaits this will surely please you! I loved every bit of it!! Next please! The gods have some work to do yet!

M.R. Polish

M.R. Polish was born in Idaho, a long, long, long, maybe not that long time ago.... Writing has always been there for her. Growing up, her mind was filled with stories, some she shared and others she filed away to write down later in life. It wasn't until 2011 that she decided to publish her stories for everyone to enjoy. Her first award and when writing became more than just an idea was in the 5th grade. She won the scary story contest for the school newspaper. It is one story she still has tucked away for memories. Her teacher told her she could be anything she wanted and that she had a talant for writing, being creative and drawing people into her stories. M.R. took that to heart and continued to write, although mostly in secret until recent years.

Now you can find her enjoying life with her family - wrangling her four kids, setting traps in the house with toys for unsuspecting victims (aka, her husband) and writing down all her crazy and fun stories.

The Fallen Ash Queen ~ Review

The Fallen Ash Queen

Ash King Series ~ Book 2

by M.R. Polish

Publication Date: September 30, 2022

“Caitin, I knew from that night on the ferry that you are my mate.”

Caitin never imagined she would survive the Trials, let alone discover she was the prince’s mate. Her time alone with Layke made her realize her feelings were more than just having her soul bound to his. His touch sent her magic into a frenzy until it was all she craved.

Layke hungered for more than her blood and there was nothing in any kingdom or demand from the gods that could tear him away from his mate. The instinct to rip anyone’s heart out if they touched her raged just under the surface.

But he couldn’t protect her from the one thing that could kill them both… her magic.

The perfect follow up to book one in every way!, October 16, 2022

We are reunited with our favorite characters & introduced to many more. This world is addicting, entertaining, & unique. The Alorians intrigued me & then the Akyell. I am still in awe of the diverse strengths & bonds created from Caitlin, Mym, Finnian, Layke, Vorigan, & so many others. We are reminded true power is not always measured in the strength of one’s hand, & how one handles the trials they’re thrown into affects far more than what is seen in the moment.

That ending though!!!!!! I can not wait to see the outcome of the war ahead & all that shall be revealed!!

Sometimes the unexpected is far better than the expected!, June 24, 2017

Blood Rose was so not what I expected! A wild ride of adrenaline & emotion sure, but each time I assumed one outcome Rose completely surprised me with an alternate. And...sometimes the unexpected is far better than the expected!

This was my first taste of Danielle Rose's awesome & I will definitely be coming back for more! I love paranormal tales, particularly magical spins, & most definitely vampires! In the beginning I wanted to despise the witches killing vampire, but their reasoning & passion won me over easily. Once I began flipping those pages I simply could not stop. Immediately I was pulled into these characters lives, their betrayal stinging as if I'd been the victim, their battles becoming my outlet for revenge, & their connections filling my soul with rejoice. These witches, vampires, rogues, & the chosen made for an excellent adventure! I will most definitely be reading more of this author's work!!
