Team Todd!! Yes Please! April 29, 2013
An extremely satisfying read full of emotion, heart, laughter, & sexiness! This story brought some very real issues to light, & I enjoyed experiencing them through Bree's eyes. (Todd's too.) Showing peoples trials is the easy part, but bringing together solutions along with such humor & intense feeling made this a perfect balance for me! All in all a refreshing twist to problems many of us may have gone through at some point in our lives. I found myself laughing, wiping away tears, & yelling at a few characters as if that would make them see the light. ;*) Truly difficult to put this book down!
I instantly knew I'd like Bree, Todd, Grandad, & Gran. Just a few chapters in confirmed that! Oh....I just adore Amber!!! She's absolutely precious!! One of my other favorite characters though is Shelly! I love her & Bree's friendship/sisterhood, & her raw truths that she blurts out!! But....the "meddling" elders were the absolute best in my opinion! The love that you feel coming from these people is genuine, & reminds me so much of people in my life. The things we take for granted since we aren't usually included in such behind the scene meddlings (or at least not to our knowledge anyway! HaHaHa) Todd however could Woo me any day!
Home for Love definitely brought Family to a whole new level in a true sense. A fun read that I will definitely me reading again.
I've loved every book that I've read by Aneesa Price thus far!! I can't wait to read the next!

 Author Biography:

Aneesa Price writes romance and lives it with her university sweetheart and husband. After having surmounted the challenges of being in a bi-racial marriage in the newly democratic South Africa, she now attributes her marital bliss to purposefully added spice and passionately resolved differences. After living in a variety of cities in South Africa, as an expat, she’s ready to explore the world with her husband and two daughters.
Aneesa completed her internship in counseling psychology and went on to work first as a therapist and then in Corporate Finance in on projects and in organizational change. This diversity in experience, coupled with her understanding of the human psyche, is translated into her writing through the creation of believable, flawed characters with the innate ability to overcome adversity.
She writes to give her readers the gift of experiencing the new and fascinating, something she strives for herself when she explores new places, reads, cooks with her kids or goes picking for antiques with her husband. She welcomes new connections so feel free to 'friend' her on facebook or follow her on twitter.

Review ~ Kiah's Soul-Shifting Journey

Kiah's Soul-Shifting Journey:The Quadrant War (#1)

by Ann Denton

 Blurb:

Sixteen-year-old Kiah and her family struggle to survive in this dystopian society, formerly known as the United States of America. Citizens experience extreme loss and devastation, and Kiah is no exception. Although she doesn't grasp the reasons for The Quadrant War, she clearly understands the impacts of the war. Hope of peace and freedom is nonexistent, until Kiah begins to view her soul-shifting ability as a source of powerful guidance rather than just something else that makes her awkward. With the help of her first love, she's on a journey to fulfill her destiny. Soul-shifting reveals important knowledge that sometimes comforts her and at other times terrifies her. Will Kiah fall prey to the overseer and his forces, or will she triumph and see her life and the lives around her changed forever?

5 Stars

That moment when you know you NEED sleep, but you just can't put the book (or the Nook) down! Yep that about sums it up.

This book kept me up until 5a.m. knowing full well I'd be a zombie the next day. My best description of this story would be a play on the Hunger Games with a cool paranormal twist. Although there are aspects of this story that want me to compare it to the Hunger Games do not be deceived this is it's own story full of it's very own awesomeness for sure! This battle for humanity has a much different feel, & the characters add so much.

I was intrigued by this soul-shifting idea, & Kiah won me over. Watching her emerge from her cocoon so to speak; I love who she has become. Ryker is an absolute dream, & I'm still awing the things he says & does. Lets just say we all need a Ryker in our lives! Max cracks me up, & Sally is simply the best...although Molly & Sheria totally shocked me. You'll understand why when you read it! What are you waiting for? Your butterfly-dreaming adventure awaits! =)
