Origins and Impulse ~ Review

Origins and Impulse

Christina's POV, October 18 2015
Never saw that coming....and yet I am loving it!!
Book 7 is from Christina's POV. First of all, Anthony has been one of my favorite characters since we were introduced, & he totally proved why in this installment! Christina totally held her own though!! That girl's got some major spunk & I see great potential to come! The dinner party was so great of Anthony to do, & I got a few chuckles imagining Christina going all DIY on decorations. I am curious to see what the other hunters will think as well as what is to come for Zander & his Luv. Book 8 can not get here fast enough!

... is best known for her short story series, The Vampire Hunter's Daughter. Other works include the follow up to The Vampire Hunter's Daughter series called The Arcadia Falls Chronicles and her vampire novel called The Birth of Jaiden. Jennifer also co-authors a series called Once Upon A Zombie Apocalypse.
She resides in the beautiful mountains of northern Idaho with her husband and five children where she practices preparing for the zombie apocalypse. Just kidding! But seriously, between the craziness of taking care of her children, Jennifer has little time left for herself. The time she does have left, usually leading far into the night, is spent working on her beloved fiction or chatting with her equally crazy friends.
Jennifer also loves coffee, has a passionate affair with red bull, wishes the sushi were better where she lives and dances while she cleans.

Innocence and Evil ~ Review

Innocence and Evil
by Jennifer Malone Wright
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Zander's POV, October 16, 2015
This is one of my all time favorite short story series!
This one is from Zander's POV & I have to tell you he was not originally in my top five characters, but he has gained much more of my attention over the last few books.
In book 6 we learn Zander's not such a tough cookie as he'd prefer to be seen, & I enjoyed seeing this other hidden side of him unleashed.
I love getting inside his head a bit more as it's always helpful to feel where they're coming from. Not to mention that storm brewing with the Warrior Angel! Watch out...things are about to get real!! On to book 7!!!! :D

Keeper Vs. Reaper ~ Review

  Keeper Vs. Reaper
by Jennifer Malone Wright
Release Date: August 12, 2014

When her father died, Lucy Mae Estmond inherited the family business. All her life she knew that she would be in line to watch over the souls of the recently passed, keeping them safe from the Reapers.

The soul eating Reapers have been a plague upon the earth, stealing souls and leaving the Keepers as the only thing that stands between heaven and hell. The factions despise each other and have warred for generations.

Then Lucy discovers an ancient legend predicting the arrival of The Chosen One, destined to bring forth an end to the Reapers. The surprises continue when she realizes she is that person. For Lucy, being The Chosen One doesn’t change much. Fighting Reapers is just another day in the life of a Keeper.

When she meets Jack Walker, they both realize they have an insane, mutual attraction. Too bad that he’s been sent to prevent the prophecy from coming true. His only mission: to kill The Chosen One.

#TeamJack YES PLEASE!, June 23, 2014
This book is so different from anything I've read lately. You've got Reapers that survive on souls, & the Keepers who have sworn to protect the souls. They have been enemies since, well forever. Until...Jack walked in for a donut. Who knew their whole world to be turned upside down with one simple touch? Ok...I seriously could not put this book down!
The character's personalities are as dazzling as their auras, their sarcasm contagious, & the possibilities unlimited.
The reference to Romeo & Juliet fits well as these two families, born enemies, shall not accept one another much less allow whatever is happening between Lucy & Jack to continue. Or will they? No spoilers here...You will have to snatch this story up upon release to get the details, folks. Trust me when I tell you that you will NOT regret it!
