Having read all of Salidas' newer works I had to go back & read this one too. I enjoyed this book a lot! Vampires are one of my favorite supernaturals to read about, so this was right up my alley. I am only giving it 4 stars, because 1/2 stars don't exist & I feel like Salidas has grown so much as an author since publishing this one. Her worlds are addictive, characters are entertaining, & plots are intense. Immortalis Carpe Noctem did not disappoint! I will be beginning Hunters & Prey (book #2) VERY SOON!
